Based on my experience, this extension gate is a perfect solution for keeping pets and toddlers secure. Installing the gate was simple and quick and it fits snugly against the wall... The added height helped deter my larger dog from jumping over while still allowing smaller pets to pass. The only con i found was that it only came in white, which may not match all home decor. Overall a great purchase for added safety..
