If a product sheet says something, it must mean something

This antenna was listed as numbers 136-520. I bought it to work with gmrs because the description says I've received it and it's clearly stamped right on it. Antenna from 144MHz to 430. I feel totally cheated because it has been mangled to make me want to buy it, not worth sending it back. I expect this from eBay, not Revain, totally disrespectful to where a person is shopping

Looks fun but works like crazy!

When installed on my Baofeng portable radio, this thing looks a lot longer than it actually is. However, I've had reports of star signals from people I've interacted with, and have even received clear transmissions in areas normally impractical with my other antennas. Last night I was able to connect to a relay station about 14 miles from this Bingfu. The signal report was once again very good. Definitely worth your money!

Reminds me of the folding antennas I used on a PRC-77 radio in the bush over 50 years ago.

The product fully corresponds to the description. The rubber at the base is a bit thick and I had to trim the edge a bit to get it out of the way of the control knob on my Baofeng DM-X that I bought it for. But as far as I understand, this is a small problem. Of course, the main issue is functionality, and this antenna excels at that. I'm glad I bought it!

First I would like to say that this antenna really works, the range with it on my Kenwood NX210 portable is great, people with their car radios could hear me better greater distance but there is one small detail that makes me want to keep using this antenna on the NX210, the base of the antenna is a little thick and rests on the channel knob, I had to remove the channel knob to thread the antenna when I want to use an antenna, I need to find a thin handle that works. Hot Trash for Accessories

Purchased to improve the transmission and reception of my portable radio. After attaching/screwing it to my portable receiver, I was unable to receive or transmit. As soon as I returned the old antenna, the radio worked again. Don't waste your time and money with this useless product.

Quality control varies greatly from sample to sample

These are Chinese copies on an old portable B&W antenna. They work fine. The SWR is high compared to 1/4 wave duck when the radio is bare hand held. The SWR is slightly better on the public safety bands (150-160MHz). They include extra rubber grommets, which is a good thing since some radios have a locking ring at the base of the antenna connector and no protrusion on the antenna housing. This is to keep water/dust out of your HT. They're better than factory ducks, but not by much.
