I really wanted it to fit! My little girl is 8 pounds, 11.5" back, 11" neck, 16.5" bust and I ordered medium. Given that size S is 9" long, 11.4" chest, 10.6" neck, I thought the small size would be too narrow. Too bad I didn't order it now. Will be back have to go and get another brand.The sweater fits the rest of her body but is too long, even three inches longer than the size chart says.

Small size fits my 14 year old 13lb sausage. It's a bit small. I originally ordered a Wednesday but it was HUGE. Order the small one and send back the medium one and it arrived much earlier than expected. I ordered it on Thursday and received it on Friday when it wasn't expected until Monday. Definitely recommend, seems good and will keep him warm as it gets very very cold.

This sweater was a great find for my Maltese. It doesn't itch when worn and it's not too thick to get too hot around the house. The sweater is crocheted and very easy to knit.
