Love They're Green

Love they are green . Be aware they smell like soy sauce. I had to soak them in water for a couple of weeks to see how long it would take for them to break, I have a tackle shop and plastic bags in the water are a big problem. The strength of the bags is good, they are easier to open than normal plastic bags. Outfitter Atlantic.

Pros
  • BioBag compostable plastic t-shirt shaped bags hold up to 12 lbs and can be composted with food waste, certified by the Biodegradable Foods Institute to meet ASTM D6400 standards
Cons
  • No performance

Versatile and great

I decided to try these as I have experience with other biodegradable bags. I didn't like how difficult they were to open and the lack of handles. These bags are great! Very easy to open. They're strong enough to do the basic jobs of a plastic bag, and they take away most guilt. I use them for general carrying/carrying of things like dog poop bags, as bags for dirty clothes when traveling etc. I keep a few in the car and in my luggage. I will also start taking them to the grocery store.

Pros
  • Reusable bags ideal for take out bags in restaurants, farmers markets, grocery stores and other retail outlets
Cons
  • boring packaging

I am sold with handles

Edit: I'm disappointed that 2.5 years have passed and the packages are dead. As soon as I open one, it cracks. I had some spills. I'll give up the rest and I've got plenty left. I searched and searched for compostable little bags WITH HANDLES and this was all I could find. They're about the size of a grocery bag, which is what I was looking for, and the handles make them easy to attach to my trash can for storing grocery bags (which we don't have anymore in California, and good luck). They also
