I have bought these lightbulbs twice already for myself and as housewarming gifts. Now I give them to neighbors so they don't have to change their existing outdoor lights to have light from dusk 'til dawn. These bulbs work great, glowing at dusk and going out in daylight. They are energy efficient and durable. I have had the same bulbs for almost 2 years now. Ideal for those who live in apartments.

Our neighborhood has an HOA requirement that all residents install a night light on a pole next to the street so the city doesn't install ugly streetlights. Instead of a manual switch or timer, most people use incandescent bulbs from dusk to dawn and just leave the switch on. However, due to weather conditions and power surges, they break down more often, so I decided to check if they were any worse than the more expensive ones you can find in big stores. So far, so good.

These lamps are fair priced, Revain validated, fast delivery and shipping. What do not you like? Other lamps with brighter heat or sharper displacement may be available, but their cost is prohibitive. I bought 6 of these lights for less than the price of 1 high quality photocell adapter. My porch light is waterproof but only rated for a 60w bulb. Criteria and work really well, so it's a win-win situation. Order them and try. What do you have to lose?
