USE SPRAY INSTEAD!

Ha! 4 hours relief? Nooo WAY! I have a problem with dry mouth because I wear Invisaline braces, therefore, firstly, it has an unpleasant aftertaste that Bioten-Spray does not have, and secondly, the positive effect does not last even a few minutes! The spray doesn't last long, but at least it stays on you longer than this thing. I probably should have put a 1 but when you need desperate relief which is all you have it helps for a moment but that's about it.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

New formula not effective

I take medication that makes my mouth dry. I had an ingredient list for the previous formula so I could compare the new to the old. The old formula was very helpful, especially before bed. The new formula burns my mouth. The moisturizing effect lasts about five minutes. I can't imagine why the company changed the ingredients other than to cut costs and make more profit. Please bring back the original formula. I'm looking for a new source of dry mouth relief.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable

This product tastes terrible but doesn't work

This product tastes terrible and doesn't work. Once applied to the mouth, it melts and rinses off in minutes. I used OraJel Dry Mouth until it was discontinued. It covered the mouth and stayed in place for several hours, especially at night. For longer-lasting relief, some sort of gel is needed. Also, the Bioten order I received was missing the packaging so I sent it back. I was charged a restocking fee for explaining to them that it could be harmful to my health. I would never order from them…

Pros
  • High score for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

The only thing I use for dry mouth.

I have chronic dry mouth due to diabetes, antidepressants and various medications for other chronic conditions. It makes life (especially sleep) more bearable. I sip water before bed, then pop a swab (less than a dime in size) in my mouth and it keeps my mouth moist for hours. At first the taste was a bit strange, but now I don't notice it anymore. It's slightly sweet but tasteless, if that helps. It really helps keep my tongue from sticking to my gums or roof of my mouth!

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • something different
