👡 Birkenstock Women's Callan Taupe Size 11-11.5 Review

I have many pairs of Birkenstocks in different styles. I thought I found the perfect slip ons here. Unfortunately, they're disproportionately large in odd places and somehow look even clumsier than other Birks. Unfortunately I had to go back.

I liked the style and color (taupe) but at the moment I have three or four pairs and I usually wear the thin Birkenstocks (other shoes am between normal and wide) - this cut was too narrow for my rather wide foot and the instep was too narrow for me. Maybe they will stretch as they are suede and quite soft to the touch but for the price I'm not sure I'd want to keep them and my feet are going to ache hoping that one day they will be comfortable. Comfortable but a little loose. Despite this, I stand and walk around all day at my current job and at the end of the day my legs feel great. They look better than sneakers.

The shoes are the right size but for some reason I literally can't fit in! I once managed to get my left leg in after 15 minutes of wrestling and it fit perfectly so I'm not sure why it's so hard for me to put my foot in.

These shoes are really comfortable and roomy for a wide foot. I've had them for a long time, now I get less tired and my legs don't hurt as much.

I love Birkinstocks. I have several pairs so I decided to try this pair of Birkenstock indoor shoes for fall. The look of the shoe looks like a classic Berkinstock, but fit and comfort are a different story. I read the negative reviews so I should have known better! The two back sides of the shoe are too high so they rub on both ankles. This is not a problem when the back is pushed down to wear the shoes like mules. Not what I wanted from these shoes.
