Fixed waist belt belt

I like everything about this belt but as a man I'm used to putting the belt on the left around the back to the right so for this belt to fit properly I have to adjust it on my right goes to around my left. Not a big deal, but makes me put this strap "backwards" compared to my other straps. The belt looks good and works as it should. I like the weight and size of this belt.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • security

I love these belts!

This is the 4th of this type and I have an average one. The newest is three years old and still going strong. I use them for everyday use including carrying a Glock 26 and they hold up great. Actually, I prefer a light belt that I wear at the waist.

Pros
  • Is it worth the money
Cons
  • Negative is present

Reliable helper in the accessory

Practical, easy to change. I prefer leather straps, but knowing I'll be in a wet, damp, and muddy environment, I would prefer this synthetic strap, knowing that it can be reused as an adjustable strap for a variety of uses when I'm at it I'm the traffic jam on a hike or at a remote workplace. I don't have (and probably won't) use it as a tool or weapon belt, although I could use it as a backup device for water rescue or fast diving.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • There are defects

Nice belt with modification

Having several durable versions of this belt, I decided to try this model. In fact, it's the same belt, but in a single-layer version, not a double-layer. . It's significantly lighter than advertised. The lack of a Velcro closure system like the HD model does is a shortcoming that needs addressing. The end of the belt is loose and the belt sometimes slips out of the buckle. So I bought a black velcro strap at a fabric store, sewed it on and ended up with a very nice, lightweight belt. If you…

Awesome belt says Salty Firefighter!

Great belt - very comfortable and light weight. I don't know what other reviewers are whining about when they say the buckle slips. If you thread the end of the strap back through the triangular part of the buckle, it will not slip off. Every forest firefighter who has been on duty here for more than a few weeks has understood that. Bonus: My first cloth belt of this type, bought a hundred years ago when I was in academy, has an aluminum buckle instead of heavy steel!

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Nothing here

Holds things for men

This is definitely a light weight belt so I wouldn't hang myself on the wall of a building to support my weight. But I'm a wilderness firefighter and bought this to carry for this and it works great. Holds my pants Holds my tools. Easy to put on, easy to take off. It slips a little, but not so much that you have to constantly correct it. Fire season is just beginning, so I'll update my review once I have time to use it in the field. But for $$$ this is a good looking belt that I expect will…

Pros
  • Useful for more than intended purpose
Cons
  • Something different

Not for safe jobs, weak single seam

The Anchor Belt Clip is not designed to be weight or carry...even though it is advertised as "inspired" by helicopter descents, firefighters and smoke crews. It's just a belt with less than a tie line on a single layer nylon webbing belt. The buckle is fine and the triangular part of the anchor is best used to double the extra webbing to prevent the strap from slipping. Not bad for $18, but I also didn't expect there would be a lap seat for emergency rappers... but I hoped. I don't know how…

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Hard to tell
