I can only say WOW!

A few years ago I bought one of the Bissell Pro Temp machines which was awarded the highest rating by Consumer Reports in the Home Carpet Cleaner category. I've never been happy with it, it was good for light cleaning but couldn't handle a very dirty carpet without leaving large amounts of dirty water on the carpet. The suction power of this machine just wasn't enough for a decent job. So I ended up with an obscenely dirty carpet and an ineffective carpet cleaner. I've seriously considered…

Great cleaner but terrible production

Well I've been using my Big Green machine for over 3 years now and here are the pros and cons. Good Qualities: It does an excellent job of cleaning carpets. I have three kids at home, a dog and a cat, and they spill it all on my carpets. There have been a few accidents with the dog, but this thing works. Just don't forget to vacuum it with a regular vacuum cleaner beforehand. The machine isn't really designed to pick up items, just pull out dirt and stains. The Bad: Hose nozzles don't do well…

And I have to admit that I am not sure I will contribute to your decision making process as there is a lot of thoughtful and clear feedback that you should consider.
