Very nice dress! I checked the measurements online and used them for sizing. Fits as shown in the picture. The tailoring is a bit fragile, the dress was a little torn when putting it on (the tear is hidden by a frog closure) so I would be more careful with this dress. My daughter loves this! The dress did not arrive after 2 days as stated, it arrived after my daughter's birthday.

Asian sizes? My daughter is half Chinese and 2T fit her ONLY when she was 18 months. She's tallest on the chart, but this dress also makes you slim, and my daughter is slim. I recommend ordering a size up if that bothers you. In addition, the frog closures are a pain in the ass, the knots are too soft/flexible. View of PITA on the button. Good thing we only used this dress twice for New Years Eve events in China.

It's quite a decent dress, but too expensive if only worn a few times (the price seems to be going up as Chinese New Year approaches moves). I loved that this item arrived on time as I needed it for my daughter's CNY performance. Quality wise this is acceptable - and although one of the metal clasps came loose when my daughter took the dress off, this was easily fixed by my husband's skillful sewing (as I don't sew to save my own life!) . My daughter is almost 9 years old and size 10 is too big
