Not exactly a shift knob, no modification

The shift knob doesn't fit because the hole is too short. I had to modify it by drilling it further and also had to fill it with epoxy to keep it in place

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Concise Instructions

Don't waste your money

First off, this won't fit every switch stock. It should be taken off the market to be sold as a shift knob. In particular, I found a few spots where the paint had chipped.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Trade-in

It's not easy to attach the best in case and finish

I put it on and it looks great but I gave it 2 stars because instead of Color with Set screws, so this item has a piece of rubber with a hole in it, and it's a pick it "should" fit on. I got lucky and my locksmith friend made a part that I could weld on and bolt on.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything is fine

Great quality for the price!

Love it! Gives some attitude to my two cars! Review update: The rubber threaded bushing is made according to the "universal" thread type. It fits snugly into the switch threads, but is designed to screw on like any other switch. After a few months with two of them I had no problems with the unorthodox system. I get a lot of compliments on them too!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Very good quality but no strings

Installed these grips on my jeep, replaced the hood rubber caps with something cooler, the view is amazing. The quality is very good, amazing details. The only matching part is that it doesn't have a thread, just a rubber part that has to take the threads, this hole isn't very wide and it doesn't connect to the part of the skull so basically when you pull it loose, I have a screw used and applied some glue to keep it in place, installed a few days ago and has already ridden and rained and still

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Devil in the details

I have a '92 Ford Ranger that needs vacuuming, could use a new throwout bearing but it drives like hell so it takes a devil to change gears until I get someone find who does. insert a shotgun switch for me. This thing is as thick as I am and was easy to install because I wrapped the tape around the switch a few times and slowly turned the knob down to where I was comfortable. The product itself is of high quality and fully corresponds to what is shown in the photo in the ad. Arrived here on…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Frequency

Very nice skull. - Spare parts

I love it but can't use it on my car. It comes with a rubber grommet which I assume is for pushing the shift knob. My car is a Mazda Miata and has a threaded shift knob. I understand it can be designed to be slip-on, threaded or unthreaded, but the inner diameter of the bushing is about 1/8" and my sprocket is about 1/4". Impossible to wear. Removing the bushing leaves a smoothly drilled hole about 7/8" deep and 1/2" in diameter. Other than filling it with sealant or glue I don't know how to…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Weight
