Ideal for dog training

Yes, for dog training. Instead of a chalk ball, a small bag of 1-calorie workout treats fits perfectly here. I simply attach it to the belt loop around my waist with the included buckle strap or carabiner and I'm free to train hands-free, but have my reward ready. It seems to hold up well to rough play.

  • Climbing
Cons
  • Frequency

There is a small one. very small

Well, I'm a fairly small guy with not very big hands, so I thought hey, small/medium would do. It's even smaller than I thought it would be and basically just fits in my fist, that's all there is in my pocket. However, the quality of the bag is very good and it is built to last, so the problem is mine. I ended up giving it to a friend with even smaller hands.

Pros
  • Chalkbags
Cons
  • I don't really like anything about them, everything is fine

Good dog treat pouch/chalk pouch, straps too long

Like the other reviewer, I bought this to use as a training pouch for my dog. This works very well. When I close the bag, my dog can't get in. Having used other climbing chalk bags, I think this bag is also suitable for climbing. What I don't like is the length of the strap. It's too long for me and my partner. I wish the bands were different sizes. It looks like the extra harness could become unwieldy when climbing unless you use a carabiner instead.

Pros
  • Sports and Outdoors
Cons
  • Almost never
