So far so good and works as advertised

It works as advertised if instructions are followed correctly. You just need to find a place outside the yard and have an outlet. Hope the lamp lasts a long time. Will be updated after a year of nightly use.

Pros
  • Contains Octenol Mosquito Bait 30 Day Continuous Release
Cons
  • I don't remember

Not a reliable product.

I purchased (2) of this product in March 2018. About 10 days ago one of them stopped working. I changed the bulbs to see if the bulb had burned out. There are no problems with the pear. The device just broke after a few months of use. Wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

Pros
  • 1/2 acre coverage kills mosquitoes, stable flies, yellow jackets, wasps and more
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Poor design is best for pest control

I've now tried 3 Black Flag bug traps and placed them side by side. Rechargeable BZC-200, BZ-15 and BZ-20. The only one that works is the BZ-20, which is very hard to come by. It works great and kills a lot of bugs while the other two can kill a bug or two. Upon careful study of the design, I found that the electrified grids were too far apart for the Beetle to make contact with all but one of the grids. BZ-20, which has the grids closer together, thus doing what the device was designed to do.

Pros
  • Uses 30% less power than most other bug traps and offers 20% more lamp life with superior brightness
Cons
  • Some bugs
