These things are awful! It's so hard to get her to open up nicely.

This is terrible! It's so hard to make them beautiful without tearing them up. I would definitely recommend using something that isn't tissue paper. When I bought them, I thought they would fold decorations, not tear a piece of tissue paper from others. A very stressful attempt and I gave up after only finishing a few.

Very cute but not that easy to make.

I ordered these in black, white, blue and yellow for a boy's bumblebee style baby shower, they were a hit. But despite the fact that there were really cute little things hanging almost everywhere, making them wasn't all that easy! It took the six of us 3-4 hours. And they're disposable, since they can't be easily disassembled for transportation after they're made. buy them again.

Pros
  • Best in their niche

I highly recommend moving and pulling the thread 1 inch off center.

My lesson from first use is that I need two people - one holding the folded paper, the other fluffing it up - and placing the attached thread in the middle like the instructions say , was a mistake. Each ball is fluffed up on one side, forming one hemisphere and then the other. In my experience, the second hemisphere has always been smaller because the paper folds were kept tighter (and therefore less accessible) in the middle than when the first was fluffed up Part. I highly recommend…
