I've never used stilts before but 5 gallon pails and 2x10s for mudding my garage ceiling sounded insane with as cheap as these things are. Seem to be good quality. They did leave black scuffs on my concrete if for some reason that would be a concern for you. I found they felt the most stable when leg iron was just below my knee/ above the fat part of my calf. Like the strength and the functionality. Balance is great. Only issue I had was the upper leg strap loosens up a bit as you work. Easy enough to tighten, just takes a few minutes that could be utilized elsewhere.

Great value and a sturdy stilt. The only issue, compared to stilts I’ve owned in the past, these are very loud. Lots of creaking and squeaking. Other than that, great product

Got tired of moving the ladder all over while finishing a ceiling (scraped popcorn and went smooth). Made the job go so much faster. My 12 year old son wanted to use them, so I told him he could after showing proficiency with the sanding blocks. He does very well, and is learning life skills to boot!
