Secure Fit, Durable (Slightly Stiff) and Attractive Appearance

Using JaysAndKay's $15 "Metal Adapters for Casio GShock GravityMaster Series" available from Electronic Bay, I have successfully fitted a 22mm green nylon strap to my 8 year old GW3000BB. Just doesn't work with my watch

I bought this when the original strap on my Luminox 6000 series watch broke. I have other watches with a nato strap and they are quite comfortable. Not so with this band. First, the ad is correct, it's a thick strap. It seems very durable and will likely last a long time. Due to its thickness and many unwieldy D-rings, the harness proved extremely uncomfortable and almost impossible to wear. In some places it was further off my wrist than the dial and looked like I was wearing a chain bracelet.

Looks very good and not expensive.

I have had several large watches over 50mm with rubber/silicone straps that have started to crumble on me and apparently this is not uncommon. Both watches that had this problem had special straps that were no longer available from the manufacturer. I've seen NATO straps and there are a lot of them so I figure why not. I ordered 26mm even though my lug width is 25mm so the fit was good and snug with no play (don't try this with an SS strap). I love it and it's very convenient and as you know it

Nice strap confused by one of the extras

I'll start by saying I really like this strap. It's definitely a heavier nylon material than some of my other NATO straps. The black version has matte black loops that contrast nicely with the strap itself. It came with installation instructions, as well as spring bars, a tool for strapping the bar (cool!). I'm not sure I understand why it's there. It doesn't seem to hold the watch in place, although the watch it was in when the strap was pulled through was very tight, so I have no doubt it…
