Not for big hands.

I agree with what most people say about the straps being uncomfortable. They are also a bit small. My biceps are about 15 inches long and the straps are very tight at the top.

  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Some minor issues

Not for big hands

I can't rate this product as bad as I've never used it and that would be unfair but if you buy these elbow pads know they are for someone who does not fit with large hands. My arms are about 18 inches in diameter and the strap doesn't fit my arm above the elbow without pinching me when I bend my arm.

  • Great product
Cons
  • No performance

Get the job done! on protective gear

Comfortable and secure fit. You forget you're wearing them, but they're there when your elbows touch the floor in that prone position. It's really great when you can dig and not feel pain. You can take this for granted until you try something that doesn't work properly. You don't have to be distracted by the equipment.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Velcro isn't the most comfortable, but the elbow pads protect well, though.

I have knee pads for this set of elbow pads. Velcro isn't the most comfortable, but the elbow pads provide good protection when crawling on the floor. I can't speak to their effectiveness as "tactical" elbow pads as MY used them to prevent my elbows from getting hit in the limited space of my crawl. But they work very well for that.

Protected me from a hurt and abused girl and more from a tough chick

I'm a tough little girl who had to protect my joints that bled like a ripe peach. I didn't want people to think I was in an abusive relationship or anything because of all the bruising I endure without remembering how it happened. I'm small in everything. They didn't pinch at all, and I had multi-layer Velcro because not only do I bruise easily, but I'm always cold (cliché, I know). I loved her! I have two colors, knees and elbows.

Pros
  • The best in her niche

Oh, but they perform.

They work great but aren't very comfortable if you bend your elbows too much. I don't know if there's too much material in the straps or what, but the inside of the elbows tend to hurt when you bend your arms fully or almost fully. I wonder if there was less material in the straps, if it wasn't so painful, if maybe they were narrower. I thought I might have over tightened them and made adjustments, but no. Last weekend I went hard on the ice while playing airsoft. I fell HARD. I have to say the
