GREAT FOR SIMPLE, EASY INSTALLATION

Ideal deployment accessory for CERT events. Easy to load and carry and easy to adjust. It fits perfectly with my Gerber Raptor, flashlight, iCom-ID51A radio. Simple easy installation.

Pros
  • Elastic Antenna Mount
Cons
  • Nothing Here

Not for medium/small radios.

Build quality appears to be good but the radio case is large and has holes at the bottom making it unsuitable for medium to small radios. Icom T70A glides away right under your feet.

Pros
  • Rugged construction for a lifetime of use
Cons
  • Small parts

Does not fit main gear

This strap fits a radio but I needed something that could hold a radio, smaller walkie talkie and GPS. Aside from a radio pocket, the pockets are too small for anything but lip balm.

Pros
  • Quick release buckles
Cons
  • Damaged

does the job. Case

I chose Hobsons because I needed something quick for an event I was working on. Does the job, handy card slot. The radio pouch is a bit large for modern Ham HTs but will fit older and larger. The side pockets are a bit small, but they fit a multi tool and a small cell phone.

Pros
  • Quick release buckles
Cons
  • Available in white only

Great harness - Cases

One of the best harnesses I have ever used. I'm still shooting Not as big a load capacity as another brand I've reviewed, but not designed for bells and whistles. Use it on Tac/Wilderness SAR days. The radio holster is a little blurry. If you regularly carry or use more than one Pac, get a dual-slot strap so you don't have to constantly reconfigure it. Another AMAZING product from BlackHawk.

Pros
  • Cases
Cons
  • Some bugs

Hope the pictures help. It's very adjustable; both the radio compartment and the straps. The straps are completely loosened. There's a card slot on the back that I can slip a liter ziploc bag into without folding (that's where I put my cards). Seams or loose threads. Looks well made.

Pros
  • CB and talkback radios

It is comfortable (after wearing it for almost seven hours)

I bought this harness in February 2015. I've used it as a ham at about six social events. It's comfortable (I wore it for almost seven hours on one occasion). It holds the radio securely in place; It holds your antenna at an angle that prevents it from reaching your eyes. I've used it with my Yaesu and Alinco handhelds. These radios are securely fastened. I would agree with some of the other reviewers that the "helper pockets" are small. I can keep the battery in one of the pockets and the…
