Not very useful, best for plugs, sockets and sockets

This product does not work in 90% of RV's. Each upgraded park has a GFI on a 110V outlet. This will not work with an outlet that has a GFI.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Doesn't work.: Plugs, inputs and sockets

Keeps turning off the 110 switch even when the load is under 30 amps. I was really hoping this would work because I only need about 40 amps, but it's no good.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Does not fit all

Not worth the money

that will not work with a 15-20 amp GFC plug unless you are only using a 15-20 amp outlet. Attempting to use both will trigger the switch. It's not mentioned anywhere in the description. Apparently it doesn't work as the manufacturer claims.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Doesn't work - Power & Electrical

We've been traveling for the last 3 months and I've plugged it in at several different campsites with the same response to the flick of the switch. At first I thought it was a camping issue, but after trying it at 3 other campsites with the same reaction I thought it was a defective item. This product doesn't work. I would like to return this item for credit.

Pros
  • nice item
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Trips Breaker every time it is connected!

I have a 30 amp plug with a 20 amp socket in my seasonal groomer. If you put 20 amps into the outlet, the switch will trip. I asked the place to replace the switch and tried again. Same result. Plugged my high speed fan into the same outlet and it works great. And of course I had it for several months so there is no way to return it. waist money!

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Not bad

Used in over 30 RV parks (including those with GFCI) and works great

We use this adapter in two ways: First = In small parks, county parks or where the 50's are all booked it gives us 45 or 50 amps depending on whether the 115v plug is 15 or 20 amps. Never had a problem with or without GFCI. It works with 2 AC units and all appliances when 115v is 20 amps (50 amps total) and in some places where 115v is 15 amps (45 amps total) we just switch off 1 AC to power the to use a microwave oven, and then alternately turn both powers on again. Second, at home, we plug it

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other alternatives
