Bought these for my young children to use as a face mask during quarantine when we had no choice but to go somewhere (e.g. to the Dentist). It's a lot easier to keep their nose/mouth shut without messing with them. I also wanted something that could be repurposed (can be worn under bike helmets in winter). What kid doesn't want to look like a ninja anyway? It has a fleece layer on the front but is also breathable.

Very stretchy and lightweight material ideal for under a helmet. Fits very well and appears to be well made. However, I was expecting this item to absorb moisture, which didn't seem to be the case - after a few minutes a large wet spot formed around the nose and mouth. In addition, the material dries for a very long time, so if moisture gets in, it must be sent to the dryer. You can't lay it out to dry at night - it's still wet the next day.

We are big skiers in our family and we have a lot of black masks. They keep my kids heads and faces warm and fit very well under their helmets. I love these masks! Disappointed because we sent the wrong mask on this last order. We ordered zip ties but when we opened the package it was kaaapow instead. We have to see what we can do about it. We need it for a ski trip in a few days so I'm not sure if we have time to exchange it. Definitely a bummer.

Bought 3 child and 2 adult sizes. We also bought 4 hats with an over-the-helmet (OTH) style face mask. Comparing warmth, the OTH was colder in a sense because there was room in my helmet for ventilation. However, they were cooler on the neck and face because they were not insulated.
