I was definitely missing something because I needed this in Miami! I saw a guy wearing it and I was so curious what it was and I'm glad I found out! Relatively light enough, and depending on the level, it may not quite whisper, but it pays off with functionality and ease of use. I haven't had a chance to try it in 30 degree weather so I'm not sure how it will hold up, but I've had a chance to try it in the 70's and 80's and it definitely works. Good powerful fan for hot Los Angeles days. I bought it mainly for my husband because I'm always cold. It uses a universal connector. It has 3 speeds that are easy to switch. We've used it several times and it hasn't had to be charged yet. It can also be bent to different sizes to fit a child as well as a grown man.
