Blistex Soft Lush Protectant Ounce Review

I love this lip balm so much! I finally learned to use lip balm regularly and my lips thanked me! Lips no longer crack in winter. I love that it's something more than a regular lip balm. It feels smoother and lighter, which I prefer to many others that are too thick or sticky. I like the smell and taste too. Reminds me of vanilla cupcake but not too sweet. Didn't get any free product or refund for the review, I just think it's a really strong lip balm.

As another reviewer noted, this is NOT the same "Soft and Lush" that Blistex released a few years ago. I really liked these things and was so disappointed when I couldn't find them in stores anymore. I jumped in to get something here, but it's nowhere near the same. It has an odd, artificially sweet taste and almost smells like cupcake frosting, but not in a good way. I don't think the previous version had an SPF rating and why they felt it necessary to change it like that is beyond me…

Love this lip balm. I am very picky about my lip balms and have tried a variety of lip balms. This is my absolute favourite! It smells and tastes good. Something like vanilla cupcakes and coconut oil. It leaves my lips so cozy and soft. They're the softest they've ever been, even after the lip balm wears off. which takes some time. I bought 3 of these. The price here is better than in the shops. However, what I received is NOT what I purchased/as pictured. Blister Soft & Lush is all I have used for the past four years. And the whole time the tube was pink and the smell/subtle taste is vanilla rather than petroleum jelly, the chemical taste most balms leave behind. Unfortunately what I got says it's Blistex Soft & Lush and the tube is still pink BUT there are flowers on the tube and the balm leaves a floral perfumed taste…
