Such an accusation. Many are sure. Wow.

This is a USB port. It broke the contacts for data transfer. It does exactly what you would expect. He loads stuff. It doesn't transfer data to or from the thing. Such a fee. Many are sure. Wow.

Burglary protection

I don't normally use public chargers because they are hacker-friendly, but it can always happen that you get stuck somewhere. These little blockers are very small and inexpensive so I ordered 4 packs. I will put one in each car and one in my travel bag. Cheap insurance.

Security when charging in unknown places

If you care as much about your privacy as I do, these little adapters will also give you security when charging your phone via USB ports in unknown locations, charging stations, airports etc. nice and bright Color, well finished and works as intended. I thought.

Highest quality and functionality

This device does not support data transfer. That's exactly what I wanted. I am very impressed with the construction of this product. I think some reviewers are confused as this is just a charging adapter. You cannot play music on another device while connected to this device, and if you were, no data would be blocked. looks like a data connection even with a stupid charger - not secure nor efficient

UPDATE: P/N B07985WW8C (EDEC brand) *really* blocks data. It works with my Garmin, but this one doesn't, proving that it *does* something with the data or is faking the data. Not this one. I have a Garmin GPS that charges with a TRUE charge-only cable, but goes into file transfer mode when it detects that it's plugged into the computer's USB port. I can not change it. The Garmin rolls over and plays dead when plugged into a port that's receiving data (like in a car waiting for a memory card)…

Only 50% Useful: Computers and Accessories

This seems like a trick that is only 50% useful and 50% useless. Thankfully it's cheap, but it doesn't appear to be compatible with I phones simply because it's not easy to plug into the power accessories you need to use in your car. It seems to require an adapter to connect the iphone power cord to the car accessory power adapter, also known as the cigarette lighter socket.
