They are very soft and warm for driving in 40+ degrees, but when it gets colder, a higher insulation class is required, but not driving all year round in my opinion.

I've ridden in temperatures below 40 degrees and was very happy with their insulation and windbreak. Haven't had them in the rain but they look like they're up for it, they were a little tight at first but after working in them for a minute and doing a few short rides of a few miles they felt perfect.

I needed gloves for fall/winter skiing in New England. So far they've been pretty good. I was riding in 30 degrees and my fingers got a bit cold but I didn't have to stop to warm them up. They fit perfectly and I love that I can tuck my coat sleeve into the cuff of my glove to keep the wind from blowing my arm. I recommend them no matter where you go.

I ordered a large not knowing how it would fit due to previous conflicting sizing reviews. Seems to me that it fits the size it should. There's probably enough room to wear a pair of thin insulating gloves underneath without enlarging/straining your fingers. But I don't need it because I have heated grips. They seem warm, if not I'll come back to this review.
