We have many games on disc and the Xbox Blueray we played died over a year ago. My son has been begging me to buy a new Xbox so he can play his games. It's great that they have this as a spare and it saved me a few hundred bucks on a new Xbox. Works as advertised - FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS.

The drive is easy to install. Powering off the board was relatively easy. Because I used to have formal education. I didn't like the drive. It read the game disc but was very noisy/noisy. It got louder when Xbox One games were brought to DVD and music disc. I will not buy this item from this seller again. I was hopeful but ultimately sadly disappointed by a product that failed to perform as claimed.
