Do not buy: Bottom friction hinge broke after 3 months

Blue Logo Bottom friction hinge broke after about 3 months of use. watch the video I tightened the hinge all the way and it can no longer hold the Blue Yeti mic in place. Everything is fine with the other two friction loops. I replaced it with a Rode PSA1 for the same price of $99 and it's working great so far.

THIS is the boom I've been waiting for!

As an audio producer, I spend more time in my studio than I care to admit. I've wanted to replace my crappy spring bar with something like this for a long time, but the price was way beyond my means. so far. Installing and setting up my microphone was easy and painless. Looks good, very strong. the perfect addition to my studio. The delivery was much quicker than expected!

TIGHTENING SCREW ON BASE

Slim, easy to use and I've had no problems. If you read the little booklet that came with it, it says that there is a tension screw at the base of the arm that you can adjust to increase the tension or loosen the spring tension. Heavier mics may require a fair amount of clockwise turn of the turnbuckle, while lighter mics may require a slight counterclockwise turn. This will prevent your hand from falling or jumping after you have already tightened the loops.

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Not the best

It's not worth the price.

1: First of all, the tube boom is really not worth its price. 2: It can't be placed where you want. It's not even as good as a $10 console. 3: Material is mediocre, not under $99.99. That's one of the reasons I sent it back. glued to the table is still durable. 5: I do not recommend this product, consider the price and experience. And its quality. 6: I thought it would be better to buy more expensive, but it wasn't. t.

A MUST for Blue Yeti owners, but pair it with a shock absorber.

A few months ago I bought a Blue Yeti microphone and found it to be very effective. If you use Blue Yeti to record gameplay, you will be in for a big surprise. It captures every sound, including keystrokes and mouse movements. It's almost impossible to use on a desktop if you want quality recordings. manufactured by the same company) for best results. I play a lot of shooters and the knocking went away after I bought these items.

  • Don't waste too much time

WTF? Already Broken/Broken

I am very frustrated that this $100 arm thing will snap if bent IN THE DIRECTION IT ALREADY BENDS. I flexed my arm back and forth trying to figure out which way to put it (it's not in the instructions) and when I looked closely I found that the arm was ALREADY CRACKING in the plastic. WTF? That's where the full resale value comes in. It holds my Yeti mic well and I have a shock mount and it all looks great together BUT I AM VERY WASTED THAT IT ALREADY Cracked DUE TO A Bend in the directionโ€ฆ

Industrial Durable Spring

This is a replacement dart and looks better than the previous one. Except for the base pivot which doesn't seem to be adjustable in any position no matter how hard I try to tighten the pivot arm. The swing arm alone isn't enough to tighten it up as it's very flat at the joint and with a very strong spring struggling like a heavy weight to keep it in place. This shouldn't be a problem with such a great looking barbell. Now I don't need to adjust it much but that's not the point, I should be able

Pain in A** to vote.

The only reason I bought this instead of the Rode PSA1 was because the Rode had been out of stock for weeks. gun boom. It rotates 360 degrees and works great overall. However, the installation process was disappointing. This thing has an industrial spring and I use an AT2020 USB+ so I had to use pliers on the handles to tighten the springs and no matter how tight I can it still springs back when I move the mic. Why does a $100 arrow have to have such a strong feather? I didn't have to use aโ€ฆ

My fingers are bruised and bleeding

What were you thinking? Have you tested this anvil mic arm instead of a regular mic? The springs that balance the hand's position are SO INCREDIBLY STRONG that I am physically unable to tighten the struts to create enough friction to create a stable neutral configuration that holds the mic in place . I've tightened it beyond what I thought possible without breaking the damn thing and the cantilever is still stretching and rising. I just can't turn the knobs tight enough to keep the mic where Iโ€ฆ
