Great product easy to install

I installed this on my 1992 Dodge W-250 to replace a 30 year old lighter. The measurements in the description were accurate and I knew I had to widen the hole. super easy installation. I checked the voltage readings with a multimeter and it's very accurate. I also wish I could remove the dust cap as it is in the ashtray and the rubber dust cap comes off very easily. I would buy this again.

Fast charger in compact packaging. The voltmeter is a few 100 millivolts but use the dash. Provide a backed up power supply as if the device had remained plugged in during the lockdown as this will drain the battery somewhat over time. But don't give anyone a reason to break windows because you left something in your car. The wires are short, but solder and seat the tube properly. When used outdoors in a boat or RTV. Useful gadget at a great price

My truck didn't have a third cigarette lighter socket, I also have USB powered devices (GPS, DVR, phone(s)) so this socket was a given. that's good, i prefer to know what my car systems are doing and it will be much better than dumb light. Socket shape, but this is a truck design issue, not a socket manufacturer issue. Wiring was easy, a few plugs for a suitcase, and it was ready to go. I can add another of the same type in the passenger center console.

Bought to hide voltmeter and smartphone charger in my green 1970 Nova ashtray. Then my John Deere charger/battery system started acting weird. My JD D110 has a factory stamping on the dashboard. A round hole has been drilled in this location and it's perfect for viewing from the seat, the PTO lever disengages when you connect implements and the charging dock works well with a long cord hung over the fender bag.
