We have two of these bluestone blankets and LOVE them. Our bed is a California King with one pillow and the comforter pulls out easily put 8-10" on each side. This blanket is difficult to wash, so I take it to the dry cleaner. The savings from such a large purchase is worth it to us, and unfortunately the washing machine doesn't have the capacity to accommodate such a large comforter. I bought one of these last year and it came out well packaged and ready to use. Bed. I love it. Fluffy, soft and very pretty. I just bought another one and it came tightly compressed in plastic with a note to fluff it for 48 hours. Well, I didn't bother too much about it. Part of the Sherpa was a little tangled after being squeezed for who knows how long and the blanket was very wrinkled. It's been a few weeks now and it's still matted and wrinkled. I received it and it was packaged very nicely. Sealed and in 100% new condition. It's washable, but if you're going to dry it, make sure you DO NOT use HEAT! You should also have an XL washing machine and an XL dryer. Otherwise it doesn't fit. I have a fairly large washer and dryer and it barely fits in.
