Great little box for TosLink from TV

This is a simple, great sounding little amp that I use to take TosLink from my new Samsung TV and add it to a pair of 5 bookshelf speakers send. You sound very nice.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Good value for money, easy setup, small switch

Amplifier small enough to fit on any bookshelf. The sound quality is excellent. It's easily customizable. WiFi works. The on/off button is very small and the backlight on the front is very bright (2 minor criticisms). The rest is excellent.

Pros
  • Sturdy build
Cons
  • Expensive

It's ok, in the right app

I love these compact Class D amps for things like soundbar replacements, especially when you can control the output level with your TV remote. I have not tested the Bluetooth capabilities with this device. I tested the device via an optical connection from the TV. I had a unit that powered a pair of Klipsh KG4s with a sensitivity of 94dB at 1 watt at 1 meter away. The sound quality is okay. I played some videos and some audio through Spotify and the sound quality was decent. It was similar in…

Great customer service and great sounding speakers

Saw this little gem and had to at least try it. I was so surprised that it actually worked and gave me a sound that exceeded my expectations. Crisp, clear with decent dynamic range, not quite as powerful as a more capable full-size receiver, but still very good for what most people want. I cranked it up to full volume, more than loud enough for any of my intended purposes. High frequencies are present along with good mids and decent bass, my vintage KLH speakers are pretty bass heavy right off…

  • Consistent test results

Ok small bluetooth amplifier some build issues

SETUP Set up was easy. I connected the speaker wires (with banana clips) to the terminals, plugged in and powered on, selected BT for bluetooth and connected (named AY_BT) on my phone. He connected almost immediately. IN USE The unit sounded out of phase right out of the box. I did a phase test (YouTube video) to confirm, then swapped the wires on one speaker and everything was focused making it appear my device was hooked up out of phase. I'm using it in a small bluetooth system with two small

This little stereo amp is versatile and powerful

I ordered this 30w + 30w stereo amp to use with a good pair of spare passive speakers. [Note: This high power Class D amplifier requires passive (i.e. unamplified) speakers to function properly.] I was surprised by the physically small size (separate power supply) and used banana plugs to connect the speakers. The amplifier has coaxial and optical digital connections as well as additional analogue connections (cinch plugs); I am using an amp with FAT32 formatted TF cards in a USB adapter and…
