Inconsistent and cumbersome

The key itself is bulky. It's very difficult to plug into a USB port when other things are plugged in next to it. It worked when I first got it, but stopped working once I got into the actual game. I updated the firmware (which is also painful and unintuitive) but it still works and turns off. I return this and would rather buy a professional controller because of the many workarounds you have to do to get this product to do what it says on the tin. Make sure you install the correct update.

Frustrated, first thing I did was update the 8-bit version on my PC like everyone said, then I turned on the wired pro controller, then plugged it in and pressed the button until it quickly turned blue blinked , then I held the share button and ps4 as everyone claims. Didn't work on the first switch or my new switch. Don't waste your time/money, buy something else.

A switch that doesn't work, doesn't connect, or rarely connects is NOT working. I connected the controller ONCE via PC (didn't work on PC), moved it to the Switch and nothing. I can easily upgrade and downgrade the firmware, but when I plug it into the switch, it doesn't work. I can turn on "Wired Mode Enabled", I can forget all connected controllers. Worked for 6 days then my controller keeps vibrating when plugged in.

On day one I was happy with the adapter, it worked like clockwork, all I had to do was plug the USB into the Nintendo Switch dock and press the button on the adapter for my PS4 Controller was in Bluetooth sync mode and immediately connected and working.
