Exactly the same as original

Same model as our original remote, works the same, looks the same etc. Works well. Opening the battery compartment is not very easy, but like the original!

Works great in audio and video accessories

Had to replace the original remote because my boxer pup chewed on it and didn't want to pay $60 to have it chew again. I hesitated a bit, but it worked great! I put in a few batteries and it was ready to go!

Batteries won't stay in place

The area of the remote control where the batteries are located is too wide and the batteries have slipped. We had to insert plastic "eyelets" to hold the batteries in place. This is the main design flaw. Not a good buy.

Button functions are not supported

The remote control is not Samsung brand and therefore some functions do not work, mainly the Guide function is blocked because the TV may say that this is not a branded remote. Too bad, will be back because important features are missing

Almost as good as the original but costs a lot less

My original Samsung remote stopped working and when I looked at Samsung the replacement cost $25.26, this item costs $8.99 . Works perfectly! The only difference is that there is no voice control (which I've never used). Good deal and it was delivered quickly.

Great for basic functionality, but had to call in an OEM to reset the SmartHub.

This is a great remote for basic functions. We like it better than the remote that came with our Samsung UN65KS8000FXZA. Unfortunately I had to order an OEM for some of the advanced menu features like the SmartHub reset. The PIN keypad didn't slip out in the aftermarket, but OEMs brought it up right away. So OEMs hide in the closet, out of dog's reach, and the aftermarket is used every day.

S much better than my original Samsung remote

update after 3 months of using this remote. I love it. It's much more convenient and reliable than my Samsung. Samsung regularly takes 2, 3, or 4 taps to do what you're asking, but this cute little fake works great the first time. It also handles all occasions when I drop it and keep working. Original rating.
