Great price compared to what retail/craft stores offer for the same item with less product. The filament holders are paper, but they still hold up well for the price. We use them for cross stitches that my daughter uses for friendship bracelets.

My previous large order (from a reputable company) was too thin and two taped together HAS ONE BAD ANGLE CUT . Most of the time they have held up well. The only downside to gluing two thick cards together is that they are thicker than plastic spools and take up even less space.

Absolutely great for the price! They're cardboard (which the description says and what I wanted when I ordered, not plastic) and they hold up pretty well when you first wind them up with string or dental floss, and I even toss a few around a bit . Carry a bag and they're fine. Because they are plastic, you can just write the color number on them if you like.
