If you are a hunter with a game camera, you NEED this!

Just used this weekend to test my cameras in the field. I have a Samsung S6 Android and no problem. They recommend installing a specific free file viewer app in the user guide. You open this app, then connect your device to your phone and your photos will open instantly. You can view, save, delete, etc. Perfect for hunters with multiple cameras in the field and short on time. No more lugging an iPad into the woods. This cheap little device is perfect. Plus it's fast. Better than portable viewers, but VERY slow. Not a USB 2.0 device!

I don't write many reviews but there are issues not covered in other reviews so here it is. In my case, no applications need to be downloaded to view them. The phone is a GS5 and all my cameras are Stealth Cam G42 No-Glo (great cameras btw). When watching a video, a 20 second 720p HD video clip will be buffered 4 or 5 times and if it is buffered it will do so for about 10 seconds each time. This is definitely NOT a USB 2.0 device. Perfect! ! for memory card accessories

Excellent! Good job folks! I have 6 field cameras on my site. CUDDY and the deer. I've tried several field readers and they're all excruciatingly slow, especially the $80+ ones. This Bone View adapter completely breaks and outperforms those expensive readers. UPDATE: THIS WORKS NOW. May not work with newer phones with USB C. Definitely not with Galaxy S9.

Despite a few hours of research and troubleshooting I couldn't get this reader to work on my S9. It works fine on my two old Android tablets (Samsung and LG). I bought a second reader from a different brand and it doesn't work either. The problem is not in this card reader, the problem is in the phone. I contacted Samsung directly but received no response. If you have a USB-C phone, keep the packaging so you can send it back if it doesn't work. I encourage BoneView to update this product…
