I don't write many reviews but there are issues not covered in other reviews so here it is. In my case, no applications need to be downloaded to view them. The phone is a GS5 and all my cameras are Stealth Cam G42 No-Glo (great cameras btw). When watching a video, a 20 second 720p HD video clip will be buffered 4 or 5 times and if it is buffered it will do so for about 10 seconds each time. This is definitely NOT a USB 2.0 device. When viewing images, you cannot advance to the next image, you must return to the menu and select the next image you want to view. This is not only time consuming but also frustrating when you have 880 images in 5 days like I just did. It reads any type of card, so that's good.
