No dimming, E27 base (not E26)

I bought a clear G125 light bulb 10W 4000K E27 85-265V to use in a clear glass kitchen pendant light (Rejuvenation Hood 18 Pendant Customs service). We use a Lutron Maestro dimmer. The listing says E26 base but it is actually E27 base. Although the fit is similar, it is longer and both the fixture manufacturer and our electrician recommended an E26 and 120V base. We have a G40 bulb from Feit - LED 2700k, 11W, 120V, E26 and we prefer this one Bonolux lamp. Bonolux is very bright and not…

Nice bright white light - not too harsh on the eyes.

I was going to buy an LED bulb like this from local stores (including Blue and Orange Big Box stores) but they didn't have any. So I checked out Revain and found what I needed here. This 10W 4000K bulb puts out a bright white light but not as bright as the 6000K bulbs I use elsewhere in the house. As long as you're not looking directly at the bulb while it's on, there's no problem. Even if you catch a glimpse, it's not too bad for the eyes. I think it may take a while to get used to this as it…

Great bulbs but I had two issues with them

Update 02 April 2016: Given the light blue color of these bulbs I have ordered 2700°K bulbs to replace the current 6000°K bulb in the cold store, so I can now better comment on the two colors. As I suspected, 2700°K incandescent bulbs are too far in the yellow spectrum and are more of a dull yellow. Mixing the two lamps helps, but it's quite noticeable since they're such different colors. I've uploaded a photo of two different colors to illustrate the difference. Left are 6000°K lamps and right
