Fantastic! Getting it on a plane or cruise ship was no problem! It was very easy to find in my bag (and now in my desk drawer) thanks to its neon green color. The foil cutter has no visible metal parts/silver colored blades. This is the same material as the rest of the bottle opener. On the way back I actually stopped and asked the TSA officer if everything was ok and they looked at him for a second and agreed.

Purchased for Airport Security. This is a great wine opener that you can get through TSA security without getting caught. I was trying to figure out how to travel with a wine opener and it fits the bill perfectly. TSA put me through secondary once and when they saw it didn't have a blade but a foil cutter sent me there no problem! Works well and is similar to the foil cutter function.

I have been using a Franmara made in Italy corkscrew for over 15 years. When the handle finally broke I was glad to find a similar corkscrew here at Revain. Fortunately, the great design has not changed. Its proportions and leverage are just perfectly balanced and the foil cutter always works. This is my favorite corkscrew and I prefer it to any other manual or automatic corkscrew I've tried over the years.
