Great mufflers with a deep, clear sound

Great sounding mufflers. They're very quiet at first, but once you start driving them for miles, they start to sound better. Once fully stabilized/broken up into a deeper aggressive sound. I have them on the SRT8 charger without resonators. I love her!

Pros
  • Great value for money
Cons
  • Safety

Excellent entry-level exhaust upgrade

This muffler was installed on a 2005 Corolla XRS (2ZZ-GE engine). The ProXS adds an extra deep tone to the exhaust but doesn't make this engine any louder if you still have a stock header, catalytic converter, resonator and piping. If you remove or install additional aftermarket exhaust system parts, this muffler can be even more impressive. In and of itself it sounds decent.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Compatibility

very happy with it

Installed on a 2001 Mustang GT 4.6, very happy with it. They have a nice deep sound with no boom. At high speeds they are a bit louder than the stock ones. Overclocked, they're louder than stock, but not overly loud. On a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 means quiet when accelerating: 3 for the original car. 5 at Borla. At 65 mph: 2 for the original car, 2.5 for the Borla. Of course this is based on 2v 4.6 with cats. Other V8 engines may be noisier.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks
