After wearing the shoes several times, the left shoe started to dangle. I had to stuff my toe with cotton to keep it from falling off my left foot.

They are very comfortable, the leather quality is really good and the size is just right for me. I've been wearing them to work every day for a few months now and love them. I'll definitely take a few more. I have slightly wider feet in the toe area and they work well for that.

I haven't bought a pair of Born shoes in a few years so I decided to try another pair as I loved the first one so much. They weren't as good as I remembered. Not as soft, not as supportive and felt tighter to me. I actually lost weight which meant sizing down the shoes but they must be a bit small because I ordered the same size as the other names but they are almost too tight.

It's a mystery to me. This is my third pair of Bromptons and the previous pair was very comfortable. It's very uncomfortable; Constant pressure is felt on the balls of the feet and toes. I'm only giving a second star because I've had good experiences with the Born Bromptons in the past. I was patient with this mismatched pair as I only wore them once or twice a week. Even a shoe tree didn't help. I don't know if I can bear to put her back on her feet or give her to Goodwill.

An interesting feature of these shoes is the rubber sole with nickel sized raised dots at the bottom of the sole. The shoes are very comfortable, but the "tips" took a little getting used to at first. In the end I really liked these shoes and this is my second pair.
