Wife bought this for my birthday. I've been using a metal money clip for over 10 years and had my doubts as to how well the magnetic aspect would work. I've been using it for over a month now and am happy to report that it holds many bills and cards without too much trouble. I lost one of these in September. I can't understand why I didn't order another one right away. I tried two other money clips that had good reviews but they failed to keep my folding money securely in my front pocket. My wife gave me a Bosca money clip/wallet for Christmas which reminded me of the brand. The combo device is back and now I have what I love.

I checked many all-metal clips before deciding on this Bosca. Aside from the comfortable feel of leather (mine is black), I'd rather have a clip in my pocket that isn't likely to stab me or scratch other items I'm carrying. The reviews said the magnet was strong which seems to be true. Perhaps compared to the magnetic money clip on the bus which was owned but no longer used, but this is not something I would say can replace my current magnetic money clip which I bought from a travel store 10 years ago have and it no longer works. My current money clip holds 18 US bills securely folded compared to this item which holds them but can be removed with some pressure. I think my search for the perfect replacement…

The clip is very good but too thick and wide for me. I'm looking for something 1 inch wide or a little less and a little less thick. However, it is a good clip and the magnet is very good. so good and no lips on the edge to open the clip.
