A very decent speaker

Very impressive sound quality for a mobile speaker but I rarely take it out of my house because it is quite heavy. Also, it is always a pleasant characteristic when a speaker has a somewhat of a standard charger so if it breaks you do not have to go through 9 circles of misery just to get a new one!

Pros
  • Great sound
  • Wireless
Cons
  • Quite heavy

Fur. broke after 6 months.

Mine lasted 6 months before it broke which I wasn't expecting when I bought it. It got to the point where it wouldn't charge or turn on. I sent it back to Bose and it was a lot of work getting them to send me shipping labels and such. I liked it while it worked but for the money I'm a little crazy that it broke so quickly. I hope Bose fixes that then I would say 5 stars

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • So-so

Typical Bose product:

Typical Bose product: The sound is quite good, but not impressive considering the high price, nor particularly powerful, not to mention you have to press the volume 10 times have sound. any significant difference. The key features too: no way to remotely control it as far as I know, no external output or equalizer of any kind. At almost $300, there should be a lot more packed into this device. Revised after 1.5 years: I no longer use this device - it is hidden in a drawer. Not the best…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons

Great sound and build quality, not much better than a mini.

Great Bluetooth speaker but not quite the bang for the buck like the Mini. The mini is in my office at work, and this full-size is for home. I can't tell a huge difference in sound quality or tone. In fact, the Mini in my phone has a battery meter feature that this one doesn't. Given the extra size and money, the Soundlink isn't quite as good as the Mini. Yes, they are both excellent speakers. If I were to buy them again I would probably go with the Mini.

Best sound in a box this size

This is the third Bose SL III that I have bought. When I heard this from a friend, I immediately went and bought it. I missed it so much when I was with my girlfriend that I bought her the same one. My daughter's family recently moved to a new house and doesn't have a music system. And with two young children, I bought one for her family so the kids could incorporate music into their lives. All three are simply the best sound for something even five times the size. Absolutely unbelievable…

Bluetooth pairing not very stable

Sound quality is great, but actually device syncing is a problem. You just have to be lucky enough to click "Sync" on both the speaker and the other device to be paired. After about 20 minutes you are lucky and the device is paired. I really like the sound but will be cautious about buying Bose in the future because getting it to work with this thing is pretty much a mood killer. Updated review: The sound quality isn't even that good. It looks like Bose has gone downhill. Yes, there is bass…

I'm not trying to be a snob or a rebel when I say this:

Not sure what I'm missing here. I'm not trying to be a snob or a rebel in saying this, but don't buy this speaker! let me explain. I bought this speaker about six months ago and when I received it I thought it sounded decent. . Basically, it sounded like a high-end kitchen radio to me. As I said. respectable. Then for the next few days I asked myself why it is so expensive. Call me cynical, but the only logical conclusion I've come to is that you're actually paying an extra $300 for that "BOSE"

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Not automatic

Bought in 2014 and still sounds great. And 2018, now 2021 update!

Bought in 2014 and still good. We were very happy with the great sound produced by a speaker of this size. You won't believe your ears, but it's actually Bose, so the quality won't surprise me. We bought the case separately and I would recommend it. It still looks and sounds like new despite numerous trips to the beach and pool and around the house a hundred times. The battery still charges well in the summer of 2017 and lasts for hours. I noticed the price is now $50 less than what we paid but

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Excellent sound quality, battery life and ease of use!

I think most Bosé products have great sound quality. Notably, this isn't the best option, but I think you should be aware of that when comparing the price between most of them. That being said, not to mention good and bad: Pros: - Its portability: Since it has a built-in battery that lasts around 12 hours, you can easily carry it around. Be careful as it is not waterproof. Lightweight: It's not the lightest of portable speakers (around 3 pounds or 1350g), but I find it light enough to easily…

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
