Amazing find here in the US!

I first saw this when we were in Germany and was considering buying it. I didn't buy it because of the weight. I was so happy to find it at Revain USA! So excited to use it. That's the talk of parties at parties :)

Arrived with a broken handle

but Revain sent replacements immediately. Works well and looks very nice. The beautiful marble base gives stability and holds the cheese in place very well. Would have given five stars if it wasn't for the broken handle. Revain gets five stars for promptly sending a replacement!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • No insurance

This one with a marble base is much better and easy to clean

I had one with a wooden base that cracked. This one with a marble base is much better, easy to clean and my guests love to roll the cheese as they like. Always a conversation starter and so good with good cheese. Of course I prefer the Swiss cheese "Tet des Moines".

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Original Condition

So for the most part this product looks very well built. However, the part that holds the blade to the center pin arrived unconnected to the blade. See image. I tried to insert the blade into the slot on the case but the blade wouldn't stay in. I have contacted support and will update this review based on customer service. The product is not usable in the form in which it was received.

  • Pretty Packaging

Don't buy this! - Cheese tools

I've actually wanted a cheese curler for years and was so glad I got it. Then I discovered that there are only two types of cheese that really fit in a car and both are very hard to come by and very expensive. I figured I could use a lot of cheeses. I haven't used mine in two years. Getting the right cheese is an ordeal and spoils before you can fully use it. I was disappointed.

Near Perfection in Cheese Tools

Honestly, I would wish for something other than a black plastic knife handle. It's a good pen, but the fit and finish of the rest of this unit takes away from the pen's appeal. And this extraordinary aesthetic problem is the only downside. It's a beautiful elegance transformed into a graceful function. I dare say that owning this device will make a person want more monk cheese. I can tell you it shows up at parties a lot more often than my fondue set and it always seems to impress the guests…

who knew UPDATE in cheese slicer

I saw the movie last week - part fever - oh. Well, particles, physics, etc. and what should appear in one of the scenes, but that's a wonderful device that I've never seen before. I researched like a bunny and found what I liked - with a marble base - and now I'm enjoying the sweet, curly cheese pieces. They melt on your toast and look great on a small plate at a buffet table. And here's the thing: you don't have to use gourmet cheese for this. Here's what you'll need: something in the shape of
