I was able to change the watch straps fairly easily and the straps came with the appropriate screwdrivers needed to change the straps (oddly you need both sets as they both appear to be star shaped / turning screws and quite small (no, you can't just use tiny screwdrivers) - the strap has a more rubbery feel than the original Garmin straps and they feel a bit smaller - I think I noticed that as I tend to use my watch looser to wear than probably most other people.

I had high hopes for this. I understand how to use screwdrivers, but as other reviewers have pointed out, they don't work. The size isn't true to size, and even if two people try to remove the pin (one holding one side and the other twisting the other), the tools won't work. This is disappointing. I lost the sliding piece that holds the extra strap length on my original strap so I'm just going to detach this piece from this new strap and attach it to my original strap. However, avoid this…

These straps are an upgrade of the original strap that was sold with the watch. The rubber is softer and more flexible, while the original felt almost more supple. The strap only has some support on the inside which makes it move less on my wrist but looks nice and smooth on the outside. Also, there is a small notch at the end of the strap that keeps the strap from coming loose, and my original strap used to come loose at least once a week.
