Everything is fine except for the poor shipping packaging

Nails work fine but connected rows of nails were broken off during shipping. When I received the package it was filled with loose nails and many rows were with 3 to 10 nails each broken. This took some time to repack and made it more difficult to feed the nails through the gun which caused some jams. I had to throw away probably 10% of the nails in the package due to damage in transit. If not damaged were, they would work fine.

Pros
  • 1-1/2" length
Cons
  • No

Not recommended. on nails in column

These new Bostitch FN nails are terrible. Bostitch You need to get new heads for these nails. They are the lowest quality I have ever seen. I'm retired and a mold maker/tool maker. I'm glad I had the joke of opening the nail pack and taking a look before opening the new Bostitch "Smart Point" 15ga FN nail gun I bought. I sent them all back. Good nailer concept; terrible nail art.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • dim

Everything ok, except for bad transport packaging

Nails work perfectly, but connected rows of nails were broken off during delivery. When I received the package it was filled with loose nails and many rows were broken with 3 to 10 nails each. This took some time to repack and made it harder to get the nails through the gun, causing some jams. I had to throw away probably 10% of the nails in the package due to damage in transit. If they weren't damaged they would work fine.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Crumpled

My use: Oak parquet in very hard sub-floor

The only misfire I had was due to the head of the screw holding the sub-floor to the joists. The subfloor consists of OSB panels (Advantek) and hard stone. I couldn't use my hand nailer to install the spikes so I used a pneumatic nailer for the flooring. This has nothing to do with these nails, but is my example of how hard the wood material was that these nails were stuck into. Hammered in with a Bostitch finishing nailer, these nails were the perfect depth. The only complaint is that they are

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly dented
