This punch is 3 holes smaller than standard paper so there is no way to align the paper. There's usually something holding it on each end so the hits are the same every time, but not on this one. This works fine, but I have to punch holes in the same place every time, so I'll be back.

This hole punch cuts through paper like a warm knife through butter. Made of all metal construction except for a plastic tray at the bottom which is used to store punched holes. There's also a nice metal plug at the end of the punch so you get clean cuts every time. This design makes it easy to remove and clean. I slightly exceeded the recommended limit of 12 pages. To be honest, you can probably squeeze in a leaf or two more. I would buy more but I'm sure this one will last a long time.

I was nervous about this product because several reviews mentioned that it was impossible/difficult to properly align holes on standard 8.5x11 paper.
