Stanley Bostitch N95RHN Nailer

The N95 Nail Gun is a great tool for driving nails. Constantly works in pine and other forests. After 8 years of using the nailer as a DIYer, I finally had to replace the trigger valve ($27.62 plus repair and install and 5 minute install). This is a 2002 update from November 17, 2010.

Good nailer for the price

This is my first nailer although I have also used Paslode, DuoFast and Senco. I realized that 800 pounds of force wasn't going to produce the same results as more expensive models. I've found the nailer to work with all materials (although I've only used it on a few hundred nails), hardwoods, softwoods, and even pressure treated. No gluing so far and the nailer drives the nails fully into the wood when properly seated on the part to be fastened. I should also add that I have the setting set to…

N95 is a good general purpose nail gun

First of all, the person writing this review is the husband of the Revain.com account holder. As a general contractor, we have been using nailers for many years. The Stanley N95RHN is a very good all-purpose nailer. It shoots plastic nails at an angle of 21 degrees ranging from 2 to 3 1/2 inches and diameters from .113 to .148. The fact that it drives a 3 1/2 inch diameter nail sets it apart from some of the competition, and the fact that it can handle a .148 inch diameter nail makes it stand…
