Perfect for radios

All Boston leathers I've worn in the fire department for over 10 years. Ideal thickness and strength. They are very durable and have lasted over 10 years.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Minor issues

Poor Quality: Portable Audio & Video

Very cheap. I bought this to replace my old Boston leather holder of the same version as pictured. The one who comes has a much thinner skin. It is not square with mold like in the picture and old but very thin and rounded at the bottom.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • A few little things

Excellent quality, should last for years.

Bought for work, easily carries Hytera pd 982 and pd 982g and still has room. Add a Boston leather strap and an anti-rocking strap and you're in business. I have been using EMS for 27 years now and it has helped me carry more radios. (Just leave the radio in the truck)!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Update Availability

Not as described - Accessories

Purchased 3 pcs for use by firefighters with radio bandages. The description says there are two D-rings for "easy attachment to radio strap" but none of the D-rings I received had D-rings as described or shown in the pictures. Also, they appear to be made out of thin/cheap leather and don't feel as durable as other brands' models.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Holds up well! - Case

This radio case is very durable and will withstand wet and dirt during a fire. This is the strongest radio mount I've had in 25 years firefighting. The only thing I don't like is the rubber band that holds the radio in place. The rubber band attachment is located on the inside of the radio case and is hooked into the case when the radio is removed and stowed away. I flipped it and now it's perfect! It fits our old Motorola radios and new Harris radios.

Pros
  • Cool item
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Works great!: CB & Radios

The leather is of good quality and I have no issues with durability. Metal clasps are durable. The rubber band on top of the radio came loose on first use. Apparently, the manufacturer did not know how to tie a quality knot. I tied it with a better knot. Regarding the fit of the radio, I'd say that if you have a radio with a bulky mic mount on the lapel (the part that connects the mic to the radio) it fits snugly, but you can probably trim the leather a little better . My radio is a Harris…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Negative is present

D-, Comfortable, beautiful product, expected failure

After three 12-hour shifts. It's already broken... a bit pricey due to lack of durability. I use it on my duty belt. I don't holster my radio very often, 5-6 times per shift at most. It's comfortable and fits snugly around my belt/body which I like and doesn't "loose". The rubber band attached to the radio has already come loose from the holster. Which is very frustrating considering it's the only device it's stored on. At the moment I would not advise anyone to buy it, an update will come when

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
