we didn't even use it. It just popped for no reason. It was on the kitchen table and all the paint was beginning to crumble and crack.

Received as a gift, arrived safely! I am very sorry that the painting was so sloppy. Nice concept, although maybe I just got dirty. UPDATE: First sent back due to poor paintwork. The second came and is the picture in this review. I think I'll just give up the drawing skills of sweaty workers.

Cute, Holds Oil 🧈 Matches any decor. Much better than keeping butter in the fridge when you need it for bread or pastries. We are satisfied Negative: Can only hold 1 stick at a time. Good for daily home use. If you bake a lot and need room temperature butter in a large container, use Tupperware or buy a large butter dish.

All in all it works like a butter dish. The one I ordered looked like a piece had broken off the inside (completely intact on the outside), but it was a bit sharp. I'm disappointed in the way the cow sits on the tray - I expect in most butter dishes she'll sort of nestle into the tray so she won't be pushed around as easily. This one just sits on a slightly concave tray so it could fly away if you accidentally hit it. Very cute, just make sure it's not a high traffic area in your kitchen.

The problem with this item is that it's difficult to use. There is no handle on the cow to easily lift the top and access the oil underneath. So. You have three choices: grab their head or tail; or grab the whole cow. The problem with the head/tail options is that you will end up at the bottom and those ear, horn or tail parts will almost certainly break off at some point.
