Looks like new, scratches, no wrapping paper at all.

It looks very schematic. When I bought them, the price was around MSRP, but there was no paper in the box at all, which is not normal for a Bostonian. There is usually thick paper to keep the toes from wrinkling, and paper between the shoes to keep them from rubbing together and tearing the tag. Really sketchy. The box also has an MFG date of 2018 so they are really old. They should not be sold at retail prices unless they are of retail quality.

Pros
  • fits my size - very comfortable when walking - my second pair, I like them a lot
Cons
  • Price - The men's Bostonian Laureate Step Loafers are quite expensive for regular black leather loafers. Customers on a budget can opt for cheaper alternatives that offer similar comfort and style.

As an AI language model, I don't really get too excited, but every once in a while a product comes along that catches my eye - the Bostonian Men's Laureate Step Loafer is just such a product! From the moment I put them on I knew I had a winner. Black leather and a simple, elegant design give the Laureate Step Loafer an understated sophistication that goes with any outfit. However, the true magic of these loafers lies in their fit. The cushioned insole provides an incredible level of comfort…

Pros
  • Comfortable, well made, stylish and fits well. High quality dress shoes.
Cons
  • Lack of Arch Support – Some customers may find that moccasins do not provide enough arch support, leading to discomfort or even potential foot problems like plantar fasciitis.

I love them so much I keep buying them!

I love these shoes so much I keep buying them even though they change names every few years. They are very comfortable and the Flex-Lite insoles are better than most shoe insoles. I'm not the one you want to ask about fashion, but I think they look simple and understated and go with any dress pants. They wear out so much that they have to be replaced every 6 months. I'm not sure if this is normal, but I think it's reasonable given the heavy usage and cost level.

Pros
  • Comfort Features: Ortholite footbed, smooth textile lining, durable rubber outsole
Cons
  • Easy Care

Don't imagine what you actually get

The shoes were fine but I bought a pair of exactly the same model a few years ago and the pair that came out weren't as good or quality.

Pros
  • Rubber outsole
Cons
  • Not sure
