The dress has been described as cream colored but is actually pure white. That's fine because it can be used as a flower girl dress and any shade will do. I ordered a size 8 for my 9 year old granddaughter and it fits perfectly. It has 5 small buttons and a zipper on the back. One of the buttons fell off right away, but it's okay --- I'm sewing. The buttonholes are stretchy and almost too small - it takes time and some skill to thread them through the tiny loops. Thank goodness my granddaughter
