Fantastic photog equipment addition!

I recently invested in a softbox adapter for my electronics setup and the quality of my final images have never been better! As a result of my tests, I determined that the light diffusion is top-notch and creates a beautiful, soft light that is perfect for capturing the perfect shot. The only downside is that it takes a bit of time and effort to set up and take down, but the end result is worth it. Overall, a fantastic addition to my lighting and studio gear!

Pros
  • Allows for the use of Bowens softboxes with monolight, increasing versatility and creative potential.
Cons
  • Requires investment in additional equipment to use Bowens softboxes with monolight, adding to the overall cost of the photography set-up.

Rugged Construction - Lighting

Durable speed ring, works great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the cocking knob is designed so that the knob has to be tightened from the inside and not the outside like other models/brands, making access a lot more difficult.

Pros
  • Camera and Photo
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

No QC: Softboxes

Lock ring screw not installed. On closer inspection, it's because it doesn't fit; They skipped one of the production steps, so they just put everything in a box for shipping. It is not possible to fix the ring with the supplied screw. The rest of the device works as intended. Doesn't work out of the box, hence rating 2.
